The new 90210

Soooo...I think I found my new guilty pleasure! Anyone else catch the premiere tonight? I loved seeing Brenda and Kelly together again! And what did we think of the new people? Annie, Naomi, Ethan?

I have to say I'm intrigued by Naomi's character, I think there's a lot of story to tell there.

It's not really a remake so much as a belated spin-off. Kind of like "Saved the Bell: The New Class" (but, hopefully, better!) Some of the old "Beverly Hills 90210" characters make appearances so, if you watched the original, it's kind of cool to get an update on what ever happened to them. I didn't catch the entire premiere but, of what I saw, it looks promising! And I really like the new brother and sister in town!

I didn't watch the original much either. I think I've maybe watched one episode. I just basically know what I've gleaned off of other people. But, it wasn't too hard to watch the new one and catch up. So, you can still watch it if you're curious!

i really liked it! it was kinda soap-ish and totally melo-dramatic but i admit i was thoroughly entertained. i love Naomi's character! Who doesn't love a good bitch?

Yep, that's right! She was one of the original main characters. And she, actually, just showed up on the new show, too! I don't know if it's just gonna be a one-time cameo or if she'll be a recurring character. We'll see!

This new 90210 is pretty similar to Gossip Girl from what I've seen. It tries to go for the shock factor and all that. I really liked the old series, so I'm up to giving this one the benefit of the doubt. It hasn't really hooked me yet, but there's always next week, I guess.

Yeah, it seems a little Gossip Girl-ish. But, like you Carrie, I'm going to give it a chance. At least, in memory of the original series. (Which is a TV classic)
